We are in ESCROW!

Yes yes it is true! Here is the short version. . .

On Tuesday I went out with our agent to look at some homes while AJ and Marv were at work. When I left I told AJ, "If I see anything that sparks my interest I will call you." The first couple of homes were definitely not what we were looking for. Then we came to 9059 Haskell St. . . . our future home!

As we pulled up there were workers everywhere and also a bee keeper to take care of the HUGE bee hive that the crew found while removing a dead tree from the back yard. Needless to say it was a bit chaotic. We walked past the construction and stepped into a house that has been remodeled from the inside out.

A group of investors had purchased several homes earlier in the year and decided to flip them. This particular home was bought in February for $73,000 because the garage had caught fire. They have upgraded the entire home and it is beautiful! (or will be when it is done in 2 weeks)

-Granite counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms
-2 pane windows and doors
-New cabinets
-New stainless steel appliances
-Tile
-Carpet
-New paint inside and out
-New landscaping
-New roof
-New garage
-New AC unit
-Fans in all the rooms
-New plumbing fixtures

And the list goes on and on! We put in offer in on it that day and because it is a "regular" sale they approved our offer the following day. Today we went into ESCROW! Yea!!! We are super excited and can not wait to actually move in!
