Our dear friend, Nate wrote this on his blog today and I think that it is a great reminder on how we are to view life. . .
Are you deliberate? Do you seek out every opportunity to influence others? What kind of influence are you making? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Are you squandering your days? I know now how short life can be! Don't take for granted the time you have with parents, kids, friends, co-workers, and spouses. Take this opportunity to go tell someone that they are awesome. That you believe in them. That you love and appreciate them.
In 2007, my dad wrote the following words in his the opening chapter of his book, Life-Changing Leadership: "I don't know about you--I want my life to make a difference. Only I am not so concerned what is written about me on an epitaph on a tombstone in a quit field. I want my name to be written on the hearts of those whose lives I have impacted."
